CITYRUN TAXI Service - FAQ's

1. What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Bank Transfer whichever form is convenient and easier for you.

2. Do you take payment over the phone for my booking?

No, but you can make the payment via bank transfer or online payment using payment link.  

3. Which area do you cover?

We are Salisbury City Centre based taxi company so our taxis are normally within this area but can cover bigger area all across the UK as per your requirements.

4. Do you take dogs in your taxi?

No, Unfortunately majority of our taxi drivers don't take dogs in their car. 

5. How will I know which is my taxi?

We will send you the taxi details with the registration number via text, WhatsApp or in email (optional) around roughly an hour before your pickup time so please check you phone for text or email.

 

6. Do you provide Child Seats?

Due to Health and Safety reasons we are not able to provide any kind of child seats. But, if you have a child seat or/and booking a return journey, our driver who carries out your booking will store your child seat for the return journey. (Note: The installation of your child seat must be carried out by you. UK law states that taxis are exempt from legislation relating to children travelling in a baby/child seat or booster, more details of the legislation can be found here).

7. How much is Fouling Charge?

You will be charged minimum of £100 for fouling inside or outside taxi on top of your taxi fare as per Wiltshire Council rules.

8. Can driver refuse or cancel my booking?

Yes, if you are under the influence of alcohol or any other substances and heavily intoxicated. Also, if your behaviour is not appropriate/ rude e.g. shouting, swearing, physical assault, etc and in these circumstance we/ driver can cancel your ride anytime even during the journey. If you have pre-paid for your journey you will not be eligible for any refund.

9. Are you allowed to smoke, eat or drink in the taxi?

No, You are not allowed to smoke (Inc. electrical cigarette), eat or drink in the taxi. If you choose to ignore it then the driver may cancel the booking with no refund issued for pre-paid booking.

10. How long does the taxi wait at the agreed pickup point from the time of my booking?

We normally wait up to 5 minutes from the time of booking unless we have agreed otherwise and will cancel the booking if no contact with the customer. It will also be down to driver discretion after initially 5 min wait.

11. Why no one answered my call, responded to my email or booking/ quote form?

Apologies if you have experience one of these but due to the high volume of calls and queries sometime we might not be able to answer your call or respond to your email or booking/ quote form.
